Rheem water heaters deliver the reliability you demand as a homeowner from a critical home appliance combined with long-term energy savings and an affordable installation. With nearly 100 years experience in producing hot water heaters, Rheem is the industry standard and the main brand we install.
The U.S. Department of Energy reports that water heating is the second largest energy user in your home, coming only after heating and cooling. Since a typical household spends up to $600 per year on hot water alone, it makes sense to have an efficient solution that will add value to your home.
Rheem offers a wide variety of residential water heaters to fit any application or set-up. Whether you need a small gas-powered water heater, an electric model, or even a specialty unit, such as direct-vent, or power-vent water heater, there is a Rheem unit for you.
RHEEM TANKLESS WATER HEATERS
Do more with less when you install a tankless Rheem water heater. These systems heat your water on demand instead of storing it in a tank and keeping it hot over the course of the day. They are compact and give you the ultimate control over outgoing water temperature.
Rheem tankless water heaters are available in several models, with each offering different capabilities and levels of efficiency. All are simple to install, and even the standard model delivers an energy efficiency rating of over 99%.
RHEEM HYBRID ELECTRIC WATER HEATERS
Rheem’s hybrid electric water heaters use heat pumps to heat the water in your home. An electric heat pump, instead of generating the heat directly, will move the heat from one place to another to heat your water.
These systems are a cross between a traditional and hybrid water heater and can come with additional settings that will help keep the cost of your water bill down. Homeowners can specify how the system is used to heat water on demand. Because hybrid water heaters pull heat from the air, they are best installed in an area that will remain between 40 and 90 degrees.
RHEEM GAS WATER HEATERS
Even though there are more modern types of water heaters on the market, the most popular kind you will find in the U.S. remains the reliable gas water heater. Exploiting the fact that heat rises, most of these machines consist of a large water-filled drum that has a heating mechanism attached.
A gas water heater will deliver hot water into your home when you need it. These water heaters balance efficiency and performance that will meet your family’s budget and hot water needs. Even if you don’t want a traditional tank-type water heater, Rheem offers several options for gas-powered units.
- Standard Tank Water Heaters. This is your most affordable option upfront even though it will offer the least in energy savings after installation.
- Energy Star Water Heaters. These gas water heaters have electric ignition pilot lights, better insulation, and deliver much higher levels of energy savings.
- Tankless Water Heaters. This space-saving model provides hot water on demand and is the most energy-efficient option in gas-powered water heaters.
RHEEM ELECTRIC WATER HEATERS
Your home’s water heater is used for multiple purposes each day, so it is nearly always under stress and is rarely turned off. Because of this, an electric water heater can be a drain on your home’s monthly financial resources if it is not made by a reputable company or running efficiently.
There are several benefits to purchasing an electric water heater. These units are often the most efficient and can also be the most affordable options on the market. There are also several options in electric water heaters, from small to large tanks for both immediate and long-term use. Since an electric water heater doesn’t need a release exhaust, it will take up less space than a standard gas water heater.
When you by a Rheem electric water heater, there are three main choices:
- Standard Tank Water Heaters. This is the typical tank water heater running on electricity to heat your water. It is efficient, but not as much as a tankless water heater powered by gas.
- High-Efficiency Tank Water Heaters. These are also tank water heaters, but they enjoy better insulation to provide additional power bill savings.
- Hybrid Heat Pump. This is a hybrid water heater running on electricity and is an option that can potentially cut your energy bills in half.
We offer a single series of Rheem Pro residential water heaters. There are differences in warranty-length, price, and features. Our installation coordinators can walk you through the consideration process and help you pick the perfect Rheem water heater for your home.

6-Year Warranty Rheem Water Heater
6-year warranty water heaters are the basic-level series for Rheem. These are fantastic water heaters, but they do require annual maintenance to drain the tank. This prevents harmful mineral deposits from forming and cracking the glass lining of the storage tank.
These Rheem water heaters come with a 6-year warranty on parts & tank, and a 1-year warranty on labor. The 6-year warranty does not mean the unit will only last that long: your water heater, if properly maintained, should have a life-span of at least 8 years.
10-Year Warranty Rheem Water Heater
The 10-year warranty water heaters from Rheem are a step-up. These water heaters are self-cleaning, which means the unit moves water around the tank to prevent mineral deposits from forming quickly. Additionally, these water heaters are slightly more energy efficient, which will mitigate your energy expenses.
Rheem 10-year warranty hot water heaters from Fast Water Heater Company come with a 10-year warranty on parts & tank, and a 1-year labor warranty. This is a very popular series because life expectancy of a water heater is around ten years, so the warranty covers most of a heater’s usable life.
15-Year Warranty Rheem Water Heater
Rheem 15-year warranty water heaters are the top-of-the-line units sold for residential applications. With higher energy efficiency, metal & brass parts, the self-cleaning feature and an additional anode rod for corrosion prevention, these water heaters offer unmatched performance.
Rheem 15-year warranty water heaters are top-of-the-line units sold for residential applications. These units come with a second anode rod installed. Anode rods work by preventing corrosion and cracks to the glass lining in your hot water tank by attracting harmful minerals in the water.
These hot water heaters come with a 15-year warranty on parts & tank, and a 1-year, industry leading labor warranty. The warranty is not prorated either, so if your tank fails after 14 years, you will get a brand new one for free.
Starting in 2015, all residential water heaters are required to be Energy Star certified. The Rheem Energy Star water heaters we carry offer superior efficiency than standard units and should save you money on your energy bills annually. They achieve this through the use of an electric ignition and damper. Instead of a burner heating the water constantly, the electric burner assembly kicks in when it is needed.
One thing to note, though; Energy Star water heaters must be plugged into an electrical outlet. They have a long cord, but you must have an electrical outlet within 15-feet of the unit. Also, if you lose electricity during a power outage, the unit will not be able to heat your water. But once power is restored, the unit will automatically start working again.

This company is great. I have had two water heaters installed and one follow up warranty service which I think went very well. Both of the service professionals I have met and everyone I have spoken to is also very professional. I can recommend this company with complete confidence.
We needed a replacement (and fast!). FAST Water Heater Co. was here in 1 hour, provided an estimate, told me exactly what it would take to comply with current code, and completed the job very quickly and professionally. No surprises...now I can take a shower! I would recommend FAST Water Heater Co. without hesitation.
Matt Smith did an outstanding custom water heater/thermal expansion tank installation job under a stairwell. He was able to fabricate the installation so that I still was able to gain access to the storage space behind the water heater. I give him 5+ stars.
Fast is the operative word here. I called to have my water heater replaced and they were at my house within 1 hour. There were some challenges with replacing my tank and Dan confidently suggested my options. In and out in a couple of hours with zero inconvenience! Dan was super personable and very trustworthy!
